CORINTH is pleased to announce a fresh set of materials to help churches hold an HIV/AIDS focus in their services – on this Mumbai AIDS Sunday – or on any Sunday of the year that a local congregation would like to!
The core of these Church HIV/AIDS Equipping Resources is a booklet which contains suggestions for a sermon, sunday school lesson, youth / cell group discussions, suggestions for how our churches can become more involved with people with HIV, testimonies and a lot more.
Thanks to the generosity of different CORINTH members – we are able to also include a number of other materials along with this resource booklet. We have prepared a limited number of Resource Packs which we would like to send to your church for use on Mumbai AIDS Sunday. This Packet includes posters and ‘Ronnie’s Bible’ – a specially produced materials to help us reach out and include people with HIV in the name and spirit of Jesus Christ.
Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can put this valuable resource into your hands – and you can use it for God’s work in your fellowships!

P.S. Special thanks to Martin and Saro Abraham and the UBS Interns with JSK for getting this valuable booklet written up, edited, formatted and printed.

God wants His children to pray. And to pray together. He has promised He will answer!
As part of the Mumbai AIDS Sunday 2009 CORINTH is facilitating regional prayer AIDS prayer meetings across Mumbai.
We are looking to see different local congregations and assemblies come together for united prayer – imploring God to act on behalf of people with HIV in our city. These intercessory prayer meetings will be from 6-9 PM on Sunday December 6th at a host church, but will only draw strength when different groups meet together. We would like to build on the momentum achieved during the Global Day of Prayer which the Mumbai Transformation Network hosted on 31st of May this year.
Here are some of the regional prayer meetings being organised. We are looking for more sites – so please contact us if you would like to host one in your area too!

We are happy to introduce the new logo for the Mumbai AIDS Sunday.
A broken heart, merged with the AIDS ribbon. Plusses scattered in the Mumbai-shaped void.
Much can be said about it.
Lets put it this way:
God loves Mumbai.
He loves people living in Mumbai who are HIV positive.
He wants His churches to reach out in love to people with HIV.
He calls each one of us to participate – and do our part.
We yearn for the day when we will not have to have a Mumbai AIDS Sunday – when we talk about AIDS in the past tense.
But that has not happened yet. And does not look likely in the short term.
But making AIDS history is absolutely possible!
We have a lot to do! May the churches of Mumbai step and and reach out – and experience God’s heart for people with HIV – for our great urban sprawl of greater Mumbai – and for each one of us!
